about

Flor de Loto's first album (2005).
The fusion of metal, classic progressive rock, jazz and Andean folk music works particularly well in this completely instrumental album. Stylistically, with a lot of influence from Los Jaivas, but it's not the only thing. Flor De Loto imposes its own unique style of Latin progressive rock. It is an album that has many wonderful solos, and much of the music has a spontaneous and improvised feeling. This album is full of a lot of wonderful guitar parts, performed by Alonso Herrera. This ensures that the album is an intense and exciting listening experience. The recording faithfully captures the band's energy, its excellent technical ability and the incredible duels between the flute and the guitar.
